Through to the Account Dashboard - your IP* needs to be activated. Once this one-click step has been accomplished the next steps are completed directly from your Samsung SmartTV.
*Your IP listed in the Account Dashboard is the IP provided to you by your ISP(Internet Service Provider).
Completing the only requirement as described above, head over to your Samsung SmartTV. The below steps are presented for you which will help you apply the CyberGhost Smart DNS via Samsung SmartTV:
Step 1 of 6: From the remote control for your Smart TV - press the Settings button*.
*the placement of the Settings button may vary from one remote controller to another
a. For some remote controllers, the Settings button is located under the Volume button
b. For some remote controllers, the Settings button is located in the lower part of the remote controller
As alternatives, the below buttons are available as a substitute for the Settings button:
- Home button - Head to the Settings menu in the lower-left corner
- Source button - Head to the Settings menu in the lower-left corner
Step 2 of 6: Choose Network from the list of choices
Step 3 of 6: Network Status is the option which must be chosen from the available fields and allow the Connection verification to finalize.
Step 4 of 6: Pick IP Settings
Step 5 of 6: Within the IP Settings menu, simply choose DNS Setting and enter the DNS manually
- Primary DNS - Enter the Smart DNS provided in the Account Dashboard under My SmartDNS tab
- Secondary DNS - leave blank
Step 6 of 6: Confirm with OK
Restart the Smart TV
