CyberGhost's Transparency Reports
Back in 2011, we were the first ones in the VPN industry ever to launch a Transparency Report, detailing the number of requests for data we get from various authorities. And we’ve been sharing this information with you ever since.
In 2019, we decided to put a twist to it and increase the frequency. So, we’re now publishing our Transparency Reports once every three months.
So, join us on this ride and discover everything we do to keep 38 million Ghosties safe on the internet.
But we do have one spoiler alert: as part of our mission to protect digital privacy, we keep absolutely no logs and don’t collaborate with the authorities.
"Here at CyberGhost, we’ve always followed the Privacy by Design principle. We don’t collect any type of data we don’t absolutely need. It’s the most reliable approach for us to provide you with a secure infrastructure and protect your digital privacy."
Rock-Solid No Logs Policy (Inspected by Deloitte)
What you do online is nobody’s business — not even ours — and our strict No Logs policy guarantees it.
Don’t just take our word for it though. Independent auditing firm, Deloitte, inspected our server network and management systems. This shows we do not track, store, or share any data that identifies our users.
This includes incoming and outgoing traffic information (like IP user and destination IP addresses) and browsing history (including websites visited, amount of data transferred, VPN servers used, DNS queries, or downloaded files).
We don’t keep any data about your VPN session information either (such as device software, connection dates, and session duration).
