easily the best vpn i have ever used. i normally do not review things but cyberghost is so far above others that i have to. in terms of servers themselves all that ive used have exceptional speeds, and the categorizations (best for torrenting, streaming, games, etc..) are accurate, especially for the torrent servers. by far the most shocking aspect and main reason for this review however is the actual software; most vpns are plagued with degrees of bloat rarely seen elsewhere, and they seem intent on bombarding you with as many promotions and upgrade packages as possible, this is completely absent from cyberghost. the software is so lightweight and concisely designed that it feels like an extremely polished community open-source program, or that it comes from a world where the gears of capital grind much more gently. regardless, on top of being phenomenal at its main purpose i only realised after i got it that it has a whole other suite of features included under "privacy guard", this is a massive collection of toggles and optimizations for disabling the myriad of ways that microsoft infringes on your privacy and uses your pcs resources in the background, this was an extremely pleasant surprise, many of these toggles were things that drove me crazy but had never considered them to be fixable without significant work due to windows settings being so limited. it also allows you to add ad-block and other security/qol features to the popular browsers that dont have them already. i paid $5 once for this 2 years ago and only now is that ending and moving to an entirely reasonable $55 for 2 years, and there arent 5 different subscription packages with features missing and spread out across all of them like nearly every other service. cannot recommend more highly, especially for sailing the high-seas ;)

Like the targeted choice of VPN streaming options, especially for UK, eg. Channel 4. Nice feature especially to save as a favourite. Plus excellent value for money right now with a huge discount. Very responsive support by email in my experience. Chat seems slow to respond.

I have now access to websites where I was blocked from or couldn't connect at all. I can watch series on Disney+ that are not available in my country yet. It helped me secure my privacy in many ways and there are some more things that really helped me having CyberGhost VPN. I am using it now for ~ 6 days, so I cannot really tell some constructive critic - sorry for that. I will try to get YouTube Premium by a Server from Turkey for ~ 1€ per month. Looks like it needs some extra steps to do so. Nevertheless it's 5 Stars worth it for the discount as a first user for 2 years+. pCloud, an extra program which is included for 1 year, is extremely helpful too for my smartphone, that has "only" 128 GB. One more positive point is that the internet connection is just as fast as I'd browse with my real IP.
